FOLEY
Foley, in its simplest form, involves the manual creation and recording of sound effects that synchronize with a piece of media. During production, capturing dialogue takes precedence as the primary sound focus on set, which often results in insufficient detail for other sounds, such as movement and character interactions. Foley artists diligently reproduce realistic ambient sounds that may be lacking in the original recordings to enhance each scene with the movement, detail, and subtlety necessary for authenticity. DIALOGUE EDITING
